The Tuscany
December 4th, 2009
My first site visit starts at the farthest East end of Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a peaceful and remote location yet only a 5 minute drive from shops, restaurants and a grocery store. I have also stayed here before in the past with my family and had a great time.
The Tuscany’s grounds are beautiful and quiet and the beachfront never gets crowded because there is only one other resort next door. The small size of this property allows guests to mingle by the central pool area or remain secluded on their screened beachfront balconies which I absolutely love. They are very spacious and have the best views of the sunrise and sunsets. Decorated with luxurious Caribbean decor each 3 Bedroom Suite can also be sold as either a 1 or 2 Bedroom as well with the other rooms simply closed off. It comes complete with a fully stocked kitchen, dining and living area, laundry and an Oceanfront master bedroom and either a Queen or Twins in the others. I found Shawnemae and Terria to extremely helpful to guests with recommendations for tours, restaurants and anything else they needed. Service is definitely top notch here!
Now this property is definitely for those people looking for a quiet getaway but if you did want to get out of the kitchen (like we all do on vacation!) and have a few meals out, you can hop over to one of Ocean Club’s two great restaurants right next door for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.
A self catering property that still offers housekeeping, you can’t go wrong with the rates they offer for their Oceanfront suites. Prices star at $553/night for 7 nights for 2 people which is part of their stay 5 nights get 2 free, or stay 4 nights and get 1 free. This promotion runs until June 30.
