Royal West Indies - Turks and Caicos Islands

Royal West Indies is on the East side of Grace Bay Beach and within walking distance to some shops and restaurants. It is very quaint and has beautiful landscaping. It’s quite small compared to other resorts so has a good amount of people staying at anyone time, not too busy. The rooms are slightly outdated but with the prices you pay, it is a bargain. Some rooms have been remodeled while others have not, so simply asking for an updated room will get you just that. I stayed in a 1 Bedroom Oceanview which was set back from the beachfront. Everyone should always check with an agent about Oceanview/Oceanfront/Beachfront rooms. Most rooms in the Turks and Caicos Islands labeled Oceanfront will be directly looking over the beach while Oceanview Rooms are set back on the property and some will still get you get views while others will give you just a glimpse. If ever in doubt, call myturksandcaicos as we all know what is what!

The room itself was very clean and tidy and I had a great stay. The pool areas are nice and quiet and I really like their pool bar. The restaurant Mango Reef was average but had good prices and the cocktails were always good.
