Whistler Weekend Getaway

This past weekend, I packed the car and headed up for a quick weekend out of the city for a girls night out!  I had my puppy with me, so needing a Pet Friendly place to stay our group headed to the Westin Resort & Spa in Whistler Village.  Amigo was welcomed with open arms, his own Heavenly Dog Bed and was spoiled with dog biscuits from the staff.

I’m not sure why but I love the smell of the Westin, it doesn’t matter where you are, walk into a Westin take a big sniff and that same smell is there! I wish I could bottle it up and use it in my apartment.

We had a two bedroom mountain view suite, with a large deck to soak up some sunshine and a full kitchen.  Although the bedrooms were on the small side, the living area is a decent size and in the summer the large balcony is great.

The Westin Whistler is in a great location, steps away from Coffee Cafe’s, shopping and of course the Mountain Gondola.  Whether you are visiting in the summer or the winter, its location cannot be beat.
